Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 30 minutes mins
- 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 small, ripe banana mashed
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. If you have a non-stick pan, use as is. If not, line your pan with parchment paper.
Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl and mix them together with a rubber spatula until combined. The mixture should be sticky.
Spread the mixture in one thin layer on a non-stick sheet pan. You want the granola to be in one uniform layer, but not too thick, as you want the granola to get crunchy. Press the granola down with your fingers to spread it as thin as you can without leaving spaces.
Bake for 30-35 minutes at 325 degrees F. Remove it from the oven and let the granola cool on the pan for at least 25 minutes to allow it to harden and cool. This is super important to getting crunchy granola clusters.
Once cooled, use your hands to break the granola up into clusters.
Enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
